In March 2012 during the live FA Cup Quarter Final on ESPN UK Lowe guided two hours of programming in a position on the pitch at the moment Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapsed on the field with the heart stopped. She was a featured figure across all major UK media outlets that night. Lowe was a pioneer in May 2012 when she became the first woman to host in the FA Cup (a six-hour, live sporting event) in live broadcast from Wembley Stadium.
