Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She has also produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. When she was a child she was raised in the Los Angeles middle-class household. The mother of her children was fond of watching movies and instilled a passion for films in the young girl too. Paula was a fan of school co-curricular activities, and she was a huge fan of drama. Paula loved playing the role of an actor with her friends and participated in the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School staged a variety of plays, and the actress decided acting was her preferred career. She was part of at the University of Southern California's summer program, and enjoyed tremendously. She was awarded an award for a PBS 3-month assignment to make documentary films. She began her career as a TV production assistant when she completed this assignment. After completing her assignment, she started producing documentary films. However, she had always wanted to become an actress, although she was content in her present work. Her first acting gig came with a small role in the romantic comedy of Will Smith Hitch.
