Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. Amy Smart, born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her acting career started in the year 1996, when she appeared in the TV film Her Costly Affair. It was a struggle to land a small role on Starship Troopers. The transition was difficult for Amy as she had to move from modelling into acting. Models aren't considered great actors so they tend to be given smaller roles that aren't very important. Amy did not give up and eventually she landed bigger parts in the movies Varsity Blues and The 70s. The 2005 romance comedy Just Friends, which also featured Ryan Reynolds, saw her play more prominent roles. Amy became famous by the industry for her performance over the past decade.
