Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. She was born and raised in California USA she started her modelling profession in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film, was her first performance. After that, she was a star in a small role in the movie Starship Troopers she struggled very for a long time. Amy was unable to make the leap from modeling into acting, as models aren't usually thought of as good actors. Models are often only given minor roles that aren't important. Amy had a determination to be successful and she eventually landed larger parts beginning with The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. The 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends, which also included Ryan Reynolds, saw her perform more prominent roles. Amy finally got the recognition she had been chasing more than a decade. Amy continued to appear in several of the most famous movies, including the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless with Jason Statham, in which she portrayed a character who remained in the spotlight for a long time.
